Founded in 2013, FB/ is a multidisciplinary New York City architectural, management and design studio for architectural and construction projects, including housing, institutional, commercial, and master planning efforts led by Fabian Bedolla.
Fabian is also the Director of Design and Construction for the 14+ Foundation, a NYC-based non-profit organization committed to develop, build and operate schools and orphanages in rural African communities. Between March 2014 and January 2015, he served as the on-site architect and construction manager responsible for managing the construction of the Chipakata Children's Academy in Zambia, Africa. Concurrently, Fabian was a Senior Project Manager at Hunter College and oversaw capital projects throughout Hunter’s various campuses.
Prior to 14+ Foundation, Mr. Bedolla was Senior Architect at Calvert Wright Architecture, and from 2003 to 2013 he managed a wide range of residential, commercial and institutional projects. These projects included the first phase of the Hunter College Library, the Zabar Art Library, Institute of Audio Research, Yohji Yamamoto Design Studio & Showroom, DNA Model Management, the Proenza Schouler offices and private residences in Manhattan, Long Island, Fire Island and The Berkshires.
As a member of the art collective We-Are-Familia, Fabian was involved in the design and fabrication of five one-of-a-kind keepsake boxes designed to house/contain/display a collection of limited edition artwork from a network of internationally renowned artists, and were exhibited at the Museum of Art And Design and various galleries in Miami, Beacon, and New York City.
Fabian is a registered architect with New York State, and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University’s School of Architecture.
